All the good tings start with an F - Fashion, Food, Flowers

After enjoying a few days of Fashion Week and Vin and Omis Flower designs I decided to hit the Columbia Road Flower Market (10-15 min walk from Old Street Station) to get some nice flowers myself. After all London is pretty grey and rainy lately, so a bit of colors and flowers won't hurt. Plus I will have a reason to finally tidy up my room which is long overdue. I am the kind of person that needs either new clothes to re-organize her whole wardrobe or new decoration in order to start tidying it up.

My sister and our flowers. (coat: Zara)

As usual my plan was to be at Columbia Road Flower Market by 10.30 the latest....I managed to be there just before 11.30 which is still an accomplishment to me! :-P (Plus my sister was in town so 2 girls who had to get ready but only had 1 mirror!!! )

But as an advice - the earlier you are there the less people. On the other hand if you show up just before closure (which is usually around 3pm - 3.30pm) you might get some decent discounts!

After snatching up a few nice bouquets (and only realizing at home that we might be short on vases...oops) we made our way to Brick Lane which is literally just around the corner.

Spotted: Tatty Devine necklace, on the way back from the Flower Market!

I for once did not know what to eat/drink first - the fruit salad or the fresh juices?
Bought both. Obviously.

Food Porn - I agree!

They tasted as good as they looked like

After a nice stroll down Brick Lane we entered the Sunday Up Market, which besides all the great food also offers some nice clothes, jeweleries. decorations and art.

However, our attention was mainly focused around this cupcake:

                                                        I know, no comment needed.

So if you ever fancy some good food, nice flowers, and this cupcake - you know where to go!

An Entirely Different Animal

Dare to be Different - Thank you Vin and Omi

After all the positive craziness of the last few days, I have finally found the time to post a bit about the Vin & Omi show that has everyone talking! And not only because they offered us a naked full frontal man walking down the catwalk ;-)

Hello there!
Behind the scenes

It does not surprise me that the New York Times called Vin and Omi "an entirely different animal" - they deserve this title.

Don't get me wrong
 - I love myself some
pretty dresses -
but what Vin and Omi
created there was more
than  pretty, it was
different in
the most beautiful way.

From the flower pedals on the catwalk to the most amazing flower (and hell yes) sheep style outfits -
there was just something about these designs that will stay in my head for a long time.

But take a look yourself of a few outfits I managed to capture or check them out in Vogue :
